To Study and Understand a Religious Building

Project Statement:

The cross-section of a building is often the least explored and least understood tool in an
architect’s design palette. How do we experience the section of the building? What specific
design moves can create compelling visual and spatial vertical relationships? Why is this
important? This short assignment asks you to investigate a significant religious building
precedent and interpret and analyze its sectional qualities.
